Our Wedding

Our journey began in 2017 at the University of Limpopo, in a statistics class of all places—because God truly has a wonderful sense of humour. While David was pretending to fully understand the lecture (and focusing very hard, of course!), God was quietly beginning something far greater than we could have imagined.It wasn't love at first sight—not even close.It took over six months of courage, patience, and persistence before Lufuno finally said, "Yes." Looking back, we are grateful for that season, as it taught us that love is worth waiting for and that God's timing is always perfect.From friendship grew something deeper, shaped by years of laughter, growth, prayer, and shared experiences throughout our university journey. Through the joys and challenges of university life, and the many prayers God faithfully answered, He remained the foundation of our relationship, guiding every step and strengthening our bond.After university, we navigated a long-distance relationship for more than three years, yet we never went a single day without communicating. Despite the distance, our connection only grew stronger, rooted in trust, consistency, and love.In 2025, David honoured his promise and formally began the lobola process, marking a meaningful and cherished milestone in our journey towards forever.Now, nine years later, we stand with full and grateful hearts, ready to make a lifelong covenant before God.
